Fanless, quiet, have they gotten phased out just because of the impracticality and the space required? Is there still niche/purpose for these huge tubes? I used to remember seeing them all the time in old magazines and never really followed what kicked 'em out.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

 

How many watts do I need? ATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explained, group reg is bad

I mean look at that giant metal heatsink..though if someone can manage to make a decoration out of it.it would look nice on your desk.

Probably the space required is what turned people off. Then again people do love their large ATX cases...

I like it. It might be better if it was flat and mounted to the wall...

What is actually supposed to go here? Some people put their specs, others put random comments or remarks about themselves or others, and there are a few who put cryptic statements.
