Mouse needs to be re plugged after shut down?

So I’m having what I hope is a minor issue. I built a pc and I use a Corsair glaive mouse. It works great at all times except after turning off my pc, when I turn it on I have to unplug the mouse and plug it back in for it to be recognized. This doesn’t happen after waking the of from sleep, only after a complete shut down. What could this be? Is it serious or is there an easy fix? I had a mouse previous to this that I don’t recall having this problem.
