Best z370 board for overclocking.

A few months back I built an 8700k system with overclocking in mind. However, I didn’t do much research on the motherboard and ended up going with an MSI z370 gaming plus. Overclocks have been somewhat stable up to 4.8ghz but that’s about it. Does anyone have any recommendations for a board less than $200 that would serve me better? After reading more on the msi board I’m finding that it’s more of a budget board with sub par vram cooling so not the best. I’ve been thinking maybe an asus prime board but wanted some input first.  Thanks guys!

The EVGA Z370 FTW happens to be the best value z370 at $130 currently. No $150 mobo or below with the exception of the Z390 Gigabyte Gaming X at $140 will match or beat the FTW.

$15 - $35 extra isn't "well over" IMO.

So both boards look good to me. This is my first build so I'm kinda a noob when comparing specs. Would I be better off with the Gigabyte board since it's a Z390 and possibly more future proof? Thank you for your suggestions!

I decided to go ahead and order the Z390 Gigabyte Gaming X. Thank you all for the input! Looking forward to some aggressive stable OC's?
