How did Nick Light get the COO Position?

Hello I was looking at http://linusmediagroup.com and I noticed that Nick Light has the Title "COO" and I was very surprised. I thought Edzel Yago was third in command? How did Nick Light get that title?

taking a wild guess here that edzel got shifted into production manager because of one of these 3 options:

- he enjoyed it more

- he was better at it

- he was doing it already, and they needed more man-hours in that position

 

similar guess for how nick light got shifted into that position.

Adding to @manikyath's point. Colton has taken very much of Nick's tasks on sales, and they've hired another person to sales. Probably to handle Colton's old tasks.
