two days ago my I phone 7 lightning port (the headphone jack part) stopped working and the day after that the wifi started acting weird. I can't open youtube, google, or netflix but prime video, duck duck go, reddit, and imessage work fine. on duck duck go I can do a wifi speed test and im getting 30mb download and 15mb upload. does anyone know how I can fix this or should I just upgrade to the xs because I think this just might be planned obsolescence.

Did you try cleaning out the jack?

did you try a reinstall of ios?

This isn't planned obsolescence, this is hardware failure or a osftware issue.

I have updated since it started if that changes anything but if I have to reinstall IOS and lose all my stuff I might as well just upgrade anyway.

99% of the time when someone‘s lightning port doesn‘t work, it‘s because there‘s dust or dirt in there. Clean it with something and it should be fine.

For the rest of the issues, I‘d try reinstalling the respective apps first. If that doesn‘t help, back your phone up (e.g. through iTunes) and restore. That should fix it.
