custom cooling fins for a m.2 drive

Hey, 

Is the use of custom cooling fins recommended for a crucial p1. 
specs: 2000 mb read 1750 mb write… 

Heard mixed reviews so far but since the m2 is in a place thats difficult to reach with the air coolers i'm using i'm not sure if i should pay any attention to the negatives

Best thing to do is to check your operating temps, in most cases it's not necessary unless your doing work that will constantly be writing to the drive for an extended periods of time.
