Elgato audio sounds awful

Hi, I am a YouTuber and as such I record and stream my games with an Elgato. When I stream, the audio from my mic (Blue Snowball) sound awful. Just watch this video and listen [YouTube video]

 

Are there any tips you can give me to make my audio sound better? Also I use an Elgato Game Capture HD if that matters.

Are you using Elgato's own software to stream? You should use OBS.

Just to be sure - you don't have any other mic connected to your PC, that might be used instead of the snowball? It sounds more like some cheap webcam mic or so. 

Further on you should check the input level. The audio signal is clipping/distorting, so you probably have to lower it.
