Help me choose a mousepad

IAmAndre

Hi,

I recently bought a Kensington mousepad but for some reason my Logitech M720 doesn't work on it. The tracking is just awful. I'm not sure if my mouse is defective but it works perfectly on my desk but does hiccup at times on my old mousepad and I suspect that's because it's wearing out.

So I'm not sure what material the Kensington mousepad is made of, but it's highly reflective. I'm attaching a picture. So if you think this isn't a mouse issue, I would like some mousepad recommendations. I'm interested in both extended and standard mousepads, but I have quite a sensitive wrist (hence the wrist rest) so I'd like something either very thick or with a gel wrist rest.

Thanks

Do you prefer cloth or hard mousepads? Do you want more or less friction?

My suggestion is that for the wrist wrest, you should buy an aftermarket one.

I don't really care. I have rather casual usage (no hard core gaming or anything like that).
