How many sata ports are there in the motherboard and how many does he need ?

My friend wants to buy a new pc so I suggested him the following configuration. But my main question is how many SATA ports do this motherboard support? He does not need a fancy keyboard mouse or speakers just a basic thing will do. How many SATA  do this configuration actually need? Is this motherboard enough if not please advise for a better motherboard with more SATA ports.

It has 6 sata ports, but that's besides the point. The motherboard and the cpu aren't compatible with each other.
