Hey everyone,

 

im here to ask something. Do external soundcard make a difference on FPS gaming ? i need more detail to hear a footsteps.

In general, Realtek or Conexant integrated audio should be just fine for your use case.

 

Regardless, if you feel that you are not hearing enough detail from your audio, Hyperx offers a cheap sound card called the "Advanced USB Audio Control Box with DSP Sound Card" for your particular headset, which should have come in the box. If not, it is available as a first-party accessory from Hyperx at https://www.hyperxgaming.com/us/headsets/accessories.
