Should I get the Cooler Master MWE GOLD 550W?

I’ll link my specs below. Basically the PSU tier list doesn’t have the MWE Gold and it’s significantly cheaper(about 50% cheaper) than other options like the RM650x from Corsair. I checked reviews and it was pretty good, plus it’s fully modular. Should I get it?

Its rather expensive for what you get.

Its a nice Plattform from XHY with LLC-Resonance mode and DC-DC - like Xilence Performance X.

 

Are there other options?

Its definately not the worst choice...

CX 2017 / CXM is much better.

I’m talking about MWE Gold, not MWE. Think it was released earlier this year

The only other option that is cheaper is the MasterWatt series from Cooler Master, but it’s semi modular and from experience, the cables are very stiff. Many PSUs that are commonly used and recommended like the Corsair RMx series are very expensive(ie the RM650x is $160 USD), whereas the MWE Gold 550W is $76 USD, and the 650W variant is $88 USD.

G2 for $70 USD would be my pick, the whisper m however comes with better build quality and is much quieter for $10 more.

Yeah, for that money it might be a decent choice...
