My Motherboard has a 24+4pin

chedd

I have only put in the 24pin connector and because I can't pull it back out I cant add the 4pin one in. Does it matter, or do you have any tips on how to get it loose? my mobo is an Asus Maximus code XI.

What do you mean? The power for the motherboard is a 24 pin, and the 4 pin goes up above the CPU. If you want to pull the 24 pin out, which I'm not sure why since you have it in the correct spot. You pull out the 24 pin by pushing the clip

There is a clip on the side of the 24 pin connector, it may appear a little small so could be hard to see without some light.  Just press the side of the clip and you should be able to pull it out but there is really no need to remove it since as stated above, the 4 pin connector above the CPU is for the CPU and not general motherboard power.

I count 24. Are you using the wrong cable or something?
