Can i put DP 1.1 to DP 1.4 port?

Hello!

I just bought GTX 1050 TI and i have VGA monitor witch i cant plug in it because GPU have DisplayPort,HDMI,DL-DVI-D ports.

So i desided to buy adapter and i cant find one VGA to DP 1.4

But i found VGA to DP 1.1

So can i buy it and put it in my GPU?

You can use it, Displayport is and will always be (according to VESA) a backward compatible standard:
