a gtx 1080 is more than enough for max settings at that fps on 1440p

depends on the game you play, for AAA titles, no. For esports titles it's more than enough.

Depends on the game. Haven’t been a able to do it on any game I’ve got since the card came out. Not with my old cpus. Hits a wall and won’t go higher. But over 100 is still nice for some games.
