New budget used build

Hypoxz

Hey guys I am going to build a new pc with used parts.

So I am getting these parts:

Msi Gtx 980

i5 750

some gigabyte mitherboard with the 1156 socket

8gb ddr3 ram

samsung 860 evo 250gb

550W CoolerMaster PSU

Can this build run some good games like Fortnite on competitive settings and Rainbow six siege comp settings and some other games like these and around what fps would I get in Fortnite and r6s

I have a second PC with a 6600k and a RX 560
It's getting ~120fps at 1080p all low with Epic view distance and AA in Fortnite

I'd say the 980 is probably better than the RX 560
but the i5 750 might struggle

you should be good at low settings though

Yeah thx guys this pc is just for 6 moths or so and then I’m going to upgrade cpu mb and ram I thought of this build cuz it’s only 300 euros with 150 for the gtx 980 so for 300 euros I thought it was a really good build

This will help you understand the importance of a cpu.

the GPU isn't actualy being that bottlenecked, and you should be able to play fortnite at ultra settings 1080p with that setup pretty well, i think...

that way later on you would really only need a RAM and CPU upgrade, which can be done pretty cheaply.

It obviously is not bottlenecking so bad, so you will get the full performance of your GPU, especially if you OC your 200GE.

so for 188 EUR instead of 150 EUR you can save later on, is what i'm getting at.

And the 200GE IS technically a locked chip but overclocks on gigabyte boards.

if you look up gtx 980 and i3-7100, it should be very close to the performance you can get.
