Title says it all, which of these is better, or has a more trusted brand. I'll use it to connect my keyboard (k70 lux), mouse (strafe) and headset (void surround)

Who the hell is Sitecom???  

 

Go with the TP-Link.  They're a well-known brand who's proven themselves trustworthy.  I also just took a look at that UH700 model myself before I logged in.  It's pretty legit!

Sorry for the late reply, but thanks for your opinion. There's one thing I'd like to know: I've read that you need to turn on the tplink everytime after you take away the power, do you happen to know if this is true, I nearly couldn't find anything about it.

I saw the same thing.  There are 2 or 3 submodels of the UH700 model (it's stupid, I know).  At least one has a power button, and at least one doesn't.  Of course, Amazon doesn't know about the difference, so they squash the two submodels' comments sections together (also stupid).

 

Basically, if it has a power button, then yes, you will need to turn it on every time.  If it doesn't, then it's plug-and-play, which means there's nothing to worry about.

But which version has the button?

 

Edit: on their (dutch) site, there's two listed, both have 7 ports and a power button, but one has two charging ports

Ok, thank you. They're not available in europe apart from a 7+3 hub (usb 3.0) without on/off switch xD, i might go for that one.
