usb-hub for keyboard, mouse etc

Go to solution Solved by fabafaba,

If it's up to the USB 2.0 standard, you won't run into a bandwidth bottleneck with your peripherals. USB 2 has about 500Mbps, which is way more than any combination of peripherals needs.

Hi,

I've been looking a some usb-hubs, to connect my (corsair) k70 lux, sabre, and void surround. I want to do this because my cable are just a little to short which hurts the cable management.

my two current options:

tp-link uh700 (7 usb-a ports)

tp-link uh720 (with two charging ports)

However I don't know if this has enough bandwidth for my peripherals, and if I therefore should look into one with usb-c.

Could you tell me if these have enough passthrough (5 gbit/s) or if I should look at usb-c hubs (and which are some good ones)

my budged is around 50 EUR, and the cable should be around 1 meter, which already decreases the amount of usb-c hubs.

Thanks!
