RTX 2070 Blower or Open-Air GPU in Mini-ITX

IconxDestiny

Hello everyone! I am currently in the process of picking up the parts for my new build. This is my first time building a mini-itx pc and my case of choice is the Phanteks Evolv Shift. My previous cards have all been in custom loops and I am looking to change it up. I was wondering what style cooler everyone would recommend for the lowest temps in this case? Every build I’ve watched in this case has been with an open air cooler, yet I’ve always been told a blower is the way to go in a small case as it will push out the hot air. Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.

Mini ITX always go blower. You won't have enough airflow for an open air style cooler to be effective.

I hink you better go blower. I use open air GPU inside ITX case, and the whole system shows me the CPU max temp is 71C and the GPU at 63C everytime I use PC on my daily routines including heavy usage. So I think blower GPU will lower the CPU temps while GPU temps might increase slightly..
