Full drive hardware encryption on internal ssd?

tesseramous

I have an Intel 660p I want to use as a data drive.  This and many other ssds say they have aes 256 bit hardware encryption.  However I can not find out where to enable this and how to set a password. Is this possible?

I think you enable it through bitlocker under Win10.

I don't use Win10 so I may be wrong, I use a 3rd party program to do my encryption
