Got this Timex in the end, bought a separate leather strap.

I'm surprised nobody ever suggested a Seiko 5. In budget, has all the features mentioned, reliable brand, good movement...

That Timex looks nice though.

You have no idea how much I used to want one of those. I mean, what the hell kind of watch has a _millennia_ dial?

Not too crazy about the wrist version though. Much prefer the pocket watch.
