GTX 960 wont come out

Currently trying to remove my gpu from an old system, screw removed, its out of the bracket but the cable wont come out

Press on the top back of the tab on the connector and pull. It will take SOME force to remove. Don't go hulk on it though.

It looks like you have it in there backwards. The little locking mechanism should be facing towards us.

NO. The knob is clearly on the other side on this card and you post one that is very different to his.

As I said, its quite the old system and its a prebuilt, not sure how I remove it if its backwards lol

EVGA flips the connector direction. Some brands have the clip facing up.

I used that image because I haven't seen a card with the locking mechanism on that side... like ever.

Try using something to pull the connector up, such as tweezers

Specifically the locking tab, if you can lift that over the hook, it should come out

Asus and MSI  have it facing up though. And well that are 2 noticeable players in the GPU market.

Probably because I like never use or recommend their products over EVGA :-D. I do have an old MSI card, but they are not turned that way either.
