4K Monitor for PS4 Pro

Looking for a 4K (UHD?) monitor for the PS4 Pro, I'm going for looks so ips panel would be preferred, but not sure if it fits into the £300-£400 price range. I'm going to be playing graphical games like God of War, Spiderman, Assassins Creed etc. Also, does anyone know what happens if you play a PS4 game with a default resolution lower than your monitor's resolution? Does it upscale and look ugly? Because I'm going to be playing games like Hollow Knight and Bully that don't support 4K. Thanks!

It will be fine, you're expected to use it on a 4k TV no? Just pick up any free-sync display in that budget.

The more expensive ones will be a bit higher quality, just check reviews

I edit my posts a lot, Twitter is @LordStreetguru just don't ask PC questions there mostly...

Spoiler

What is your budget/country for your new PC?

what monitor resolution/refresh rate?

What games or other software do you need to run?

Any reason why free-sync?

It might get an update to support it in the future, though that would be free-sync over HDMI...

Otherwise they're just good displays for the price, and it shouldn't cost anymore than displays without free-sync.
