The adobe people sound rightly reserved about this but the more software that works on Linux the more people that will use it and the more software that will get written for linux.

Oh no, how is Adobe going to be able to split their dev teams across 3 platforms when they can hardly manage developing for Mac and Windows?

what's wrong with windows?

The fancy - apple sheep - editors is going for mac for sure...

The gamers - pc builders -  editors is  absolutely in windows.

What's left for linux?

No! I do not want to see anything from Adobe on Linux. Adobe programs attracts hackers like sharks to blood and Linux does not need that attention. Besides, Adobe completely lost me when they went cloud based.

One has to be proactive, not reactive, to ensure the safety of one's data so backup your data! And RAID is NOT a backup!
