Gaming pc keyboard and mouse

Do I just spend £50 on mouse and keyboard or do I spend £150 I have 0 clue

I'll tell you what mate, I used to cheap up on peripherals too thinking it didn't matter.

 

Usually my mice would break after not even a year of usage, so one day I decided I'd buy actually good stuff... user experience improved a ton and they never broke... moral of the story... cheap goes expensive eventually just grab quality stuff once and be done with it.

well, quality depends on what you call quality. more expensive mostly mean better. I'm fine with cheaper personally, but that's personal prefference. I would recommend to go to your local hardware shop, and try some, you can feel a lot from that already

You don't need to spend more than $50 on a mouse unless you're looking for something special. A $50 mouse would last you quite a while. As for the keyboard, you might actually see improvements until you get to the $150 range. I like Corsair, but it's really just opinion on what company you want and what kind of peripherals you want.

I love my $50 logitech g305 mouse. Best mouse i've ever owned for playing csgo. For keyboards, I just use a corsair membrane keyboard (k55 rgb) and it's pretty solid for $50.
