Uncle is looking for the EVERYTHING laptop

bantamspy

My uncle is looking for a laptop that is a 2-in-1, has the newest generation i7 processor (It can be H or U series), has upgradable RAM, 2.5 HDD/SSD bay, m.2 slot. Having an HDMI or VGA to display to a laptop would also be a nice to have.

Price does not matter to him.

I've been looking around but I haven't been able to find a laptop that has all of these things.

im pretty sure any of the custom laptop brands offer all this

edit: i guess i missed the 2-in-1 (does that mean tablet with keyboard or just that you can bend the display all the way around?)

I don't think this exists because a two in one is a thin and light and are basically sealed units to keep the weight down which removes most ports and expandability and even if you find one that's going to be terrible for tablet use because of the weight.

you're better off with a good laptop that does everything else other than the flip and fold with a touch screen.

From Texas. Size and screen quality doesn't matter too much but long battery life would be nice. My uncle said he'll be on the road pretty often.

Sorry for late reply, I think 6 hours minimum would be ideal. He'll be on the road a lot though so the better the battery life the better for him.

It's OK

Actually you don't have to spend lots of money if you don't care display quality and weight. May I know the usage? And possibly provide a max budget to make things easier

FYI i5 and i7 don't matter much in ULV processors due to thermal limitation
