Anyone here ever refill normal disposable pens?

Going through my desk, lots of pens are drying up and low or out of ink.

I was thinking of buying some large guage needles from the drug store and some pen ink from a craft hobby store.

You know those plastic things, ink holders like below. I do have some $8 pens with a metal thingy and a removable cap. Staples doesnt sell a replacement that I can find online.

That is where I got my idea from.

Youtube just has Fountain Pen vids.

Just go buy "bulk misprint pens" on ebay.

 

You'll get pen inks (AND PENS) for ~ $0.15 per pen. 

 

I don't know of any cheap pens that are worth writing with.

That is news to me, misprint pens, makes sense.

 

Pens are pens, I dont care. Basic pens, average pens, a tad better then average pens dont matter to me as long as the grip feels good.

 

 

My guess is there has to be some sort of liquid weight / density to the ink for the pen tip hole.

These come in your cheap pens, some sort of cap on the end of it there right about \/

in my school years, i hate oil-based ballpoint pens like bic, hate the smell of the ink, hate how they can be easily smeared. not a fan of parker-styled cartridge too, as they are expensive.

 

until i discovered mitsubishi uni-ball pens in the high school, the signo series gel-based ballpoint pen is one of the best everyday writing tool ive ever used, especially 0.38/0.5mm one. also the water-based eye micro ub-150 is also fantastic. you can refill signo pens since often you can buy cartridges for the cheap. ub-150 is not but they comes with quite a lot of ink.

 

the uni-ball pens are one of the greatest writing tools, but there are fair share of chinese knock offs, sometimes it's difficult to spot the fake one.

.38 all day baby.  Cause my handwriting is atrocious and you need as much space between the letters as possible for it to be legible. LOL

im a 0.5/0.7mm user, my 0.38mm pens only reserve for writing chinese.
