Can i use a 1151 cooler on a 1151 v2 chip???

Is it possible to use a 1151 chip set cooler (nzxt kraken x52) on a 1151 v2 chipset (i5 8600k)?

all sockets that start with 115 have the same mounting holes, thats why you usiually see the box saying "115x" instead of listing out all the sockets

I spent $2500 on building my PC and all i do with it is play no games atm & watch anime at 1080p(finally) watch YT and write essays...  nothing, it just sits there collecting dust...

all cpu colers that list "115*" compatibility fit all "115*" motherboards. for example my cooler is technically only socket 1156, but it fits perfectly on socket 1150.

 

that said, i have to add, cpu cooler, not "chipset cooler" ;)
