FPS From 70 to 20 Overnight

The other night I had been playing games like Rainbow Six Siege and BFV on ultra, hitting around 70 or 75 fps on average. However, the next day when I went to play I was surprised to see that I was hitting 22 fps max. I use the lenovo y720 laptop, and I swear I have done everything to try and fix it. I have reinstalled all drivers and the geforce experience program itself, made sure my laptop is using performance over power, my laptop is plugged in, checked for malware, defragged my hd and ssd, plugged into different outlets, and made my preferred gpu my dedicated card.

A few things I think are important:

-I opened the games with both my integrated and my 1060, and both are giving me 22 fps.

-When I plug it in im getting 22 fps, when I unplug im getting 22 fps (normally unplugged ill top at 30)

-The other day I had an issue where it said "plugged in but not charging," that is now resolved

-Finally, leaving my games open for a while I topped out at 48C, very low temp? Considering I have had it at 80-85C

Any comments or answers are appreciated.
