Mixing different/new same brand RAM sticks

Hi guys, I have a single stick of HyperX Fury 8gb DDR4 2133MHz and want to upgrade to a total of 16gb of RAM by getting another 8gb stick of exactly the same RAM from the same place I bought the first one, but would this possibly cause any problems for my system?

I understand that mixing different brands of RAM sticks, different speeds, etc can cause problems but I haven't heard a lot about mixing the same brand of RAM sticks at the same speed that are bought days, weeks or even months apart.

What are you're good/bad experiences with mixing different sticks, the same sticks bought just months apart, etc? ?
