BIOS update for H61M-P22 (B3)

Hello,
So I tried every possible way i can to update my BIOS from 25.4 to 28.0 but I simply can't, every time i try the procedure with the MSIHQ tool, when i go to boot the pc via the usb it just skips the update and goes on to open up windows. Please help I bought a core i5 3470 and I cant get it to run cause of the BIOS version
