Dang, as if Micro Center's bundle deals weren't good enough...

Too bad I'm not looking to upgrade.

I'm doing my wife's budget build soon...that 2600 is VERY tempting, but the new gen chips looked really promising. This is gonna tug at me for a while...

Heck, maybe the new Ryzen 2 CPUs will lower the price of the 2600 or 2700 even further down.

Can hope so, but that's an assload of performance for $150.

I know right! I was even tempted to upgrade my 1700 but I barely use the 1700 to it's full potential so there is no need to upgrade any time soon.

That's EXACTLY what I'm thinking, AMD is not like Intel, they lower their previous chips rather than marking them up. Yes I know, production, demand/supply, but still..

P.S. I love the avatar, I don't know when you changed it, but I dig it.

It sure is, who knows who AMD can provide next gen with their high-end mid rangers.
