Samsung One Connect adapter?

My old folks broke their Samsung TV screen they bought early this year and apparently replacing the broken parts would be too expensive to justify fixing it. Far what I understand though the actual logic of the TV is all in a separate box where all cables connect while the screen part is just a screen. The output of that box is through one of their proprietary One Connect cable.

 

I tried searching on Ali Express to see if someone had made use of that cable or able to get the image from it to use elsewhere but I didn't find anything.

 

Do you know if anyone made and sells anything that I can make use of the thingy for or am I really stuck with Samsung if I want to use it again?
