I am trying to paint the bezel of my AOC Agon AG271QG and i was just wondering if anybody could provide any tips or how to remove the bezel from the monitor or if I should just mask off the monitor and paint over it?

i think the front panels on most monitors are removable, but i'm not certain. you should see if your model has a front bezel that can pop off.

Screws are on the back if not most likely its clicked (or in certain cases glued) in place.

When i ask for more specs, don't expect me to know the answer!

Hi there, I do a lot of work moding TVs, for a brand like that one, you should start at the screws on the back. On the inside more than likely the front bezel is going to be screwed to the back lighted area.

Now here is the tricky part, and diffent manufactures do this differently, the front bezel may be cosmetic, eg. does not hold anything together, it may hold the LCD panel to the backlight with the LCD panel being loose, or worse case the LCD panel may be glued to the front bezel.

My best recommendation would be to remove the bezel if possible to paint it, but be very careful when you do.

If you need any specific help, pictures help.
