Thinking about upgrading but not sure where to start

ATFSpectre

CPU: 5820k @ 4.3ghz / H100i v2 cooler

GPU: EVGA 980ti sc acx 2.0
Motherboard: Gigabyte x99 UD4
Ram: 24gb DDR4 @ 3000mhz
PSU: EVGA Supernova 1050 gold+
SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 1TB
Monitor: 2x 1080p 144hz

This is currently what I am using and am unsure as to what would be the most beneficial upgrade, if any at all. My ideas are the following: New motherboard and cpu upgrade to a 9900k, upgrade to a 2080ti, or a 1440p 144hz monitor. I'm not sure which upgrades would be the best to do or if they will even have a significant impact. I don't know if either the cpu or gpu upgrade would be a bottleneck or if I would be able to make use of the new monitor with my current setup. I would like to know your opinions or any other suggestions about the topic. Thanks in advance!

yeah the rest seems to be in working order. GPU is the only real one you could upgrade. upgrade to a nice and terrible physX card lol

new gpu. you could try find good deals for 1080ti in sli (potential issues with sli) or get a 2080ti in some more time (prices will come down because nobody is really buying them.

I agree the 2080 ti is useless now with very little support for rtx.  And 1440 p is not a big difference for the extra money a 240 hrz 1080p monitor would be better.

I don't think your cpu can support a 2080ti so get either a 2080 or get like a 9700k

 PC: A10 6700, 8gb DDR3 1600mhz, GTX 1050ti, 1TB HDD and Prebuilt motherboard, case, power supply & cooler

Laptop (Asus Vivovook X510UA): i5 8250u 8gb DDR4 2400mhz 256gb SSD
