EK Phoenix orientation (problem with thick radiators)

imo it definitely would be. i run two GPU's and a 1920X on just a slim 240 and a slim 120 rad.

 

you would see slightly higher temps tough, but i don't think they'll exceed the 60s when stresstesting.

people tend to underestimate just how much a single radiator can cool a system, let alone a 240 and a 360! ;)

I have some issues with my radiators. They are very thick and because of that I cannot fit another rad in my case. Anything I can perhaps do to fit another 360mm in there? It must be a Phoenix MLC lineup from EKWB.

 

Tubes kink if I out the tunes on the left side of the CPU block. Hard to connect.

 

 

Case is Lian Li 011 Air.

2nd Loop: 4x 480mm XE CoolStream radiators and 1x 240mm XE Coolstream radiator with 1x Revo D5 RGB pump and 1x Rajintek Antila D5 Evo RGB pump for CPU only cooling with 2x Koolance QDC3, purple coolant.

Total: 4x pumps and 10x radiators.

It's just that the thickness of the radiators are not allowing me to install more. I bought this case specifically to fit more, but I guess I gotta live with that T H I C C N E S S.

 

At least I have enough space to add GPUs to the loop later.

You could purchase another non-Phoenix radiator some pipes, fittings and QDC connectors (EK sell all that) nothing on the Phoenix stops you adding extra. As you have discovered the Phoenix rad units are HUGE. They will tell you if another will fit in your case if you contact their support.

I know about the QDC, apparently new ones come out in about 2 weeks time. The only thing I hate is the pipes, they won't match. Not braided.

An option would be to add one at the top, but on the outside instead, if you pull out the cover from the top, you'll see there is a possibility of going external on the top side, if the tube length allow that at least.

 

Have the same case, with a Phoenix 360 core also in wait to be installed.
