Trying to get the most out of my 1070 8gb card

Sparg

I'm trying to get the best performance without sacrificing a lot of visual quality. I've got an i7-7700 and a gtx 1070 with a 1440p 144hz monitor playing battlefield 5. I currently run it on high settings at an average of 90 fps but it dips down to 55-65 fps through out the game. Before and after games it will dip as low as 20fps.

Have you tried overclocking it? What 1070 do you use?

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 10 and Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

How many watts do I needATX 3.0 & PCIe 5.0 spec, PSU misconceptions, protections explainedgroup reg is bad

You have two options:

1- Set some settings to low and medium.

2- Overclock your GPU, which will slightly improve your minimum fps.

Do both.

i7 10700k @ 5.05 Ghz

Corsair H100i pro XT 240mm

MSI z490 tomahawk

16 Gb (2 x 8 GB) Patriot Viper Steel - 4000mhz - 16-16-16-34

MSI 1070TI titanium
