Corsair 400C - Fan clearance

I'm considering upgrading my Hyper Evo 212 to an AIO and mount the radiator in the front of the case - possibly in a pull setup - and was wondering if I could mount my 140mm - the one that came with the case - on the top of the case.

So that I have a radiator at the front of the case (pull setup), a 120mm exhaust fan and a 140mm fan at the top of the case (near the back). Rad spec: 240mm.

My questions is: would I have enough room for an exhaust fan of this size to fit at the top of the case with a ASUS Z370-E motherboard? I'm worried that the plastic guard that surrounds the VRMs would be in the way of the fan mounted at the top (since it's 140mm I wouldn't have the opportunity to mount it further towards the side window). I don't want to completely remove this fan from my case fearing that my airflow isn't sufficient.

Any help / information would be highly welcome.

Specs:

CPU: i7-8700k

Motherboard: Z370-E

RAM: 16GB DDR4

GPU: GTX 960 (Soon to be 1070 ti)
