HALP - Asus Gene VIII Motherboard stuck on A9 then display Frozen Bios (not the movie)

Hello everyone

My 3 year old build is giving me headaches. I Did a full dust clean up, fired it up and gamed all day, then after turning it off and booting it back up again 1 hour later, it stays stuck on A9 code for a few minutes, then displays the Bios but it's frozen, can't do anything, niet, nada.
I tried removing ram, GPU, SSD, HDD, to no effect.
Next thing i'll try is removing everything and build back up from there, but does anybody has any clue what it could be? CPU? MOBO?

CPU i5 6600K
Cooling NOCTUA D15s
PSU Corsair RM 850w
RAM corsair ballistix
MOBO MAXIMUS VIII GENE
HDD WD 3To S-ATA III 64Mo (Caviar green)
SSD Samsung 500Go 850 EVO
CASE CORSAIR Obsidian 350D

Have you tried booting without a drive plugged in?
