Realistic VR, if you could would you?

If a vr setup existed that was full effect, so it felt fully real, you could walk normally, jump, run.... basically full immersion. Would people want that? What if it was crazy realistic so you felt pain, felt touch and impact with in game objects would people want that? Basically if you could have a real life holadeck like from star track and could play black ops in it would you? Whole point of this post is how realistic would the average person want if it existed?

This would absolutely positively degenerate into a sex haven in all of about 2 minutes.

 

I'm honestly surprised sex instruments for VR haven't appeared yet.

Game where I'm being shot? Sure, I'll endure a LITTLE pain. Obviously not gunshot pain, but it'd definitely add to the realism. 

 

Honestly I think the thing that needs to happen for VR to feel immersive is a body suit that can activate your body's nerves based on what's happening inside VR.

I think it would be neat if the pain diddnt kill you can you could set it kind of like how some games let you set how much blood there is . But i remember palmer luckey saying he wants to make a game like sao in an interview so keep him away from that please

The idea is the pain could not actually physically hurt you. Basically a vr setup whare you felt everything relasitcally but could not actually be hurt.

Thus the adjustability part. Some people would be hardcore and want it to be real feeling, no you don't die in real life lol
