should i get this motherboard

I am looking to build a new system with an 8700k and I found this motherboard and wanted to know if its worth buying

£180 ish 

they also make the same board without the optane module for about £120 is the 32gb optane worth the extra money??

not worth it imo. and as far as I know a optane model isn't worth 60 bucks. But even then, a real ssd is still waaaaaay better. and you can get a good ssd for 60 bucks these days

what does optane do??

I have an SSD for my OS and a 4tb Seagate HDD already

optane is a accelerator for your harddrive. but I really don't think they are worth 60 bucks. I would just get the board without it.

If you already have SSD than optane is waste of your money as well as hardware resources.

well, I haven't watched that many benchmarks of the 9700k, so I might not be the right one to ask, but both are as far as I know great cpu's

Just pick up a 8700K. The performance is not that different and you'll save good amount of money. 9700K is not worth the extra cost imo.
