So how do I turn off the LED?

Duct tape.

I turned off my PC and monitor, it's silent so I'm pretty sure it's completely off (fans too), but the LED on the motherboard are still lit.

I could just switch off the PSU everytime I turn off the PC, but someone on another thread said that it isn't recommended.

So how do I turn off the LED?

Thank you

So was I.

It's probably there to tell you power is flowing to your motherboard.

What motherboard is it?

Are you talking about the standby LED light on it?... The little tiny one in the shape of a single diode.. Just throw a blanket over the case when you sleep lol

There are soldering irons :D

Apart from that, I've never seen a bios seting to turn any LEDs off, except for HDD leds maybe

The LED is to show you that everything is working fine. If you don't want to see it, just throw a blanket over it.

Oh, I thought it was supposed to turn off, are you saying this is normal?

I don't know, the mobo has some LED here and there, I thought they would turn off whenever I shut down the PC.

It just gave me the feeling the mobo didn't shut down properly, but if it's normal so be it lol

It's normal. Says 5vSB (stand-by) from psu goes in motherboard and powers the minimum required for board to do things (wake on lan for example)

If light bothers you simplest solution = black marker pen
