Why are power connecotrs on gpu always located facing the side panel?

dgsddfgdfhgs

well not always, but all modern cards are.

it just looks bad in cable management

I have seen some older cards connectors are turned 90 degrees (facing front panel)

if the card has longer cooler than pcb, i think it could hide the cable completely

because we dont want the power connectors smashing into the other cards next to the gpu. And basically most modern cases have more than enough room for the connectors to be pointing out towards the side.

However this isnt stopping you from using a cable which has a 90 degree connecter on it, which would fix the issue

Sadness is the one true emotion, and happiness, well, that's just a lie, sadness is all many of us feel, and is all we need to feel, because having it any other way, would just be wrong, why be happy when you can just be miserable like myself.

Because cases tend to have more space towards side panel rather than front panel

Mostly because facing side panel can give more clearing room to fit more cases.
And yes, it is ugly as hell..so I brought some custom made cable just for that reason.
