Export Mail Server Settings From Outlook 2010 to Outlook 2016

nick name

I am trying to help a family member transition to a new PC and the biggest issue is going to be e-mail.  They currently use Outlook 2010 with a couple POP/SMTP servers.  I am trying to transfer EVERYTHING over to the new PC in a manner where the only thing I'll need to input is the passwords for the e-mail servers.

I've already created .pst files for the e-mails and I've seen a method of copying the registry keys, but that method copies keys that don't immediately translate over to the same location and I haven't seen a way to change the key locations.

I don't use Outlook and haven't in years so I am out of my depth in every way.  And honestly I think Outlook should die a slow an painful death.

Does anyone have experience moving Outlook settings between machines relevant to my scenario?  I've Google and Google some more, but can't find anything that doesn't make me want to punch a fucking computer screen.
