My little brothers pc is stuck on the windows 10 loading screen

So he got back home yesterday from his fathers house and turned on his pc and it took forever to load... well actually it never loaded he left it loading overnight and it is still loading he's now unplugged it and fully turned it off for now till i get back home

system partition on hdd? probably bad sector. get a bootable system on usb and make a image of the partition (do not copy files) and restore it on fresh hdd or ssd.

why everybody post the spec of their rig here? i dont! cuz its made of mashed potatoes!
