does b350 mb need bios update for ryzen 5 2600

does b350 mb need bios update for ryzen 5 2600, i am in uk and most b350s are £20 cheaper than b450s. 

does any one knows a under £100 good mb that would work with 2600 without bios update.

They should be updated by now, but even if- you just take it to a computer shop and they'll do it for 10$.

As far as I know (there are people who know much more about this than me here: 

B350 is for 1st Generation Ryzen originally, and requires a BIOS update to run Zen + (2nd Gen Ryzen) chips. You need to swap in a compatible chip to perform the update, unfortunately.

 

There’s a list of Zen & Zen+ chipsets attached, I believe any under Zen will require the BIOS update, though.
