How do I use Aura Sync w/ AMD Wraith Prism RGB

So basically, I got a new motherboard, CPU and ram. Asus Prime X470-Pro, AMD Ryzen 7 2700x, & 16GB Corsair.

The problem is, I want to make the cooler, that comes with the Ryzen 7 CPUs, match the motherboards color which I've controlled via Asus Aura Software.

I've tried installing the Cooler Master Software that supposedly enables you to control the color, however it just prompts me to "plug in my CM device to get started."

Please help, I feel like this tech should be easier to use since its 2018 right?

Anyway, if you know of any fixes, please let me know!!

You plugged the CPU cooler's RGB cable into the RGB cable on your mobo?
