I just got this cpu from ebay

Hey guys,

I have just bought a cpu on ebay but it looks kind of weird.

Can you tell me what this black stuff is in between??

It's very likely a silicone adhesive, applied in a rather sloppy manner.

This likely almost certainly means it was delidded at some point, any my or may not be properly functioning.

It is even on the wrong side. So far it works. I am installing windows but I get some error with my ssd now.. Do you know how to solve this "Your drive has a MBR partition table on EFI systems Windows need GPT drives"

It definitely appears the previous owner completed a delid in an effort to gain lower temperatures.

Intel Core i7 9700F / Cooler Master 212 Evo / GeForce GTX 1660 SUPER / 16 GB G.SKILL RAM @ 2666MHz / GA-B365M-DS3H / EVGA 500w PSU

With everything wrong with it I wouldn't be surprised if it's just had the IHS swapped.
