6Pin to Molex or SATA to Molex?

Hi, so I have an old PC from my friend and it has a fully modular PSU. But, the 6pin to Molex cable is missing and I have already bought a case that comes included with RGB fans, which are powered by one molex cable(they plug into a hub). There is a 6 pin to molex cable at my local shop but it might not be in stock. If it's not in stock, is it safe to get a SATA to Molex cable? I read online that it could catch on fire or not work at all.
