Pcie slot is closed?

I just installed my new Rx 580 and I'm just wondering. If my new is working that means that the Pcie slot is closed right?

The only thing I can 'close' on PCIe slot is the bracket on the case... not sure what you're talking about

If you’re referring to how the card is in the slot makes it closed, that’s not the term I would I use, I would just say that it is in use. As the pcie lanes attached to the port are actively being used by the card.

did it give signal to monitor? is it detected by the pc? and did it click? if so, it's in right.

If it works then its connected. However you can always check if the GPU is in correctly by looking at the retention clip: if it is down then its in completely, alternatively you can also pull on the gpu gently and if it doesnt come out, its in right.
