RTX 2080 ti availability in Germany

Hey all,

 

I am in the market for the 2080ti. Seems that the availability is on hold for most partner cards (I have been looking for Aorus Xtreme and Asus Strix). There are some Zotac and Palit cards available and when contacted stores do not know when they will have it in stock. Is Zotac AMP that much worse than other partner cards? Does anyone known any stores that still have some more cards in supply?

I'd prefer Palit over Zotac personally, because Zotac had a shit ton of issues with their 1080 and 1080 Ti AMP! edition where the PCB design was simply flawed causing the VRM to overheat on prolonged heavy usage causing throttle and other issues.

 

Palit is a division of PNY which is nVidia's largest Quadro line up manufacturer, their cards are usually great just don't have as much marketing on them.

Check EVGA's website (not amazon evga cards). They have some in stock in the US, no reason to think they'd be out in Germany

nVidia like Intel is having some supplying issues, specially with the 2080 Ti, the cards are not widely available worldwide and US is usually the easiest place to get last gen tech.

Thanks for advice! Yee, heard about it as well when I was purchasing 1080ti.. Now wondering whether to go for stock PCB partner cards like PNY as most stores have them in stock or try to wait for custom ones... Lol

But being serious, the cards are all much of the same, the main gain with something expensive like a ROG Strix is just less noise and what? 1~2 fps tops thanks to a tiny higher clock due to a tiny bit of lower temperature?

 

It's not something to lose sleep over, really... the worse 2080 Ti is still going to be better than the best 1080 Ti.

That is exactly what I am thinking ;D when price differs be like 200 eur for such a low perf/sound increase.. and FE is lookin sexy. Do you think prices will drop a bit in upcoming months once supply increases?
